Research Guidance Cell was started in the year 2013 where research knowledge would be shared freely and interactively, without inflicting any financial burden to the researchers. It aims to develop a multi-faceted support system that could help the researchers in the area with the rigors of academic research.

Research Centre in Commerce and in Accountancy was started in the year 2015. Prin. Dr. M.S. Kurhade is the Head of Research Centre , while Dr. Sussmita Daxini is the Co-ordinator of the Centre.

 

The Centre has three recognized Ph. D supervisors.                                                                                       Total scholars registered are 10

The College has Memorandum of Understanding with Research Centres of–

  • Sanskardham College

Minor Research of University of Mumbai was successfully completed by Dr. Sussmita Daxini and Prof. Chandrakant Borle in the academic year 2017-18.

Research Grant has been instituted to motivate research amongst teaching staff and degree college students.

Research Grant of Rupees 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) shall be allocated amongst selected five teachers and Rupees 5,000 each (Rupees Five Thousand only) shall be allocated amongst selected students.

Every year applications would be invited from research enthusiast . Those teachers whose applications are selected will be given initial grant of Rs.5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only)to pursue their research. On submission of their Research Report, remaining research grant would be released.

Project Report of students from BBI, BMS, B. Sc. IT. M. Sc. IT. M. Com and M. Phil would be considered for research grant. Heads of respective departments shall forward three best projects of each semester to the Committee. Committee will then select 5 best projects for awarding Research Grant to the students.

BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD was instituted from the academic year 2017-18 for Teaching staff.  Best Research Paper Award would consist of Rs. 5000/ (Rupees Five Thousand only) and a Certificate from the College.

  • Phil in Commerce was started in the year 2016-17.

Total number of students pursuing M. Phil are 58.
