| Economics Day is celebrated every year in our College with the permission of our respected Principal Dr. M. S. Kurhade. It was our Principal who germinated this idea and Prof. Caroline David initiated it since 2004-05. |
| On this day we have many competitions, both academic and cultural, in Economics. They are as follows: Elocution, Quiz, Extempore, Debate, Essay Writing, Best-out of-Waste, News-Reading Competition, Singing Competition (Hindi Songs with Economic-related words), Dance Competition (Remix i.e. effect of Globalization), Drama on Economics-related topics, Fashion Show, Poster Making etc. The entire Assembly Hall is decorated with the Posters, Pencil Sketches, Best out of Waste and models made by the students. It’s a very grand event. Students eagerly wait for this day. The student who gets the maximum number of Certificates for winning in the above competitions, is crowned as “Economic King” among the boys and “Economic Queen” among the girls. They are even felicitated with a Certificate and a Trophy. The credit for the success of this day goes to our beloved and hard-working students and Judges and not forgetting the main Captain of the team, none other than our respective Principal Dr. M. S. Kurhade. |
